Institute established on : August 2004
 
Year 2004 marked the opening of the Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication in the C.S.J.M. University Campus, Kanpur. It was for the first time that the students of Kanpur and surrounding areas got opportunity to take admission in Journalism and Mass communication course and choose career in Media profession. Since then the Institute has been successfully conducting all academic activities in this subject. A brief profile of the Institute is being given here.
