Helipad


There are few Universities in the state which have their own Helipad. Its important to the University is self evident. Prior to the construction of the Helipad , dignitaries visiting the University had to land at far off places and had to travel all the way by road to reach the University. This wasted both time and energy. To get rid of this inconvenience , the Helipad was constructed. The Helipad is big enough to accommodate three choppers at a time. With the construction of the Helipad, now it is possible for high profile guests to make visits to the University at short notice. It has also made life easy for the district authorities which now have to make security arrangements at a smaller scale in comparison to the old days when entire roads had to be ceiled prior to the visit of a V.I.P.
